Registration open in the Store on September, 13th 2025 9am EST - 24 students max.

Workshop Description:

In this workshop, Allie will teach you how to make a seaglass art quilt. These small quilts are meant for display, but the same process can be used to make a larger quilt that is used.

Seaglass Quilts are a kind of improv quilt that uses scraps to make something new and beautifully unexpected. A combination of raw edge appliqué, free motion quilting, and a method of laying out the pieces in a specific way creates dynamic movement in a soothing piece.

Allie will teach her method of preparing and cutting the fabric, talk about different design layouts, and help guide participants through the making of  their quilts, including free motion quilting basics.

There is no one pattern for this technique. A supply list will be provided prior to the class.
