South Florida Modern Quilt Guild is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization under the umbrella of the national Modern Quilt Guild. Our guild aims to

  • Develop and encourage the art of modern quilting.

  • Work with other guilds and groups with a similar purpose.

  • Offer educational opportunities through classes, workshops, lectures, and sharing of information.

  • Support and provide opportunity for outreach or other works that provide back to the community through the use of modern quilting skills.

We are governed by our Bylaws and an Executive Council of volunteers.

Addendums (2019):

  • Cancellation policy for workshops: All workshop  are on a first come first serve basis and are not refundable. A waitlist will be provided once classes are filled. If you are unable to attend you class, please contact us and if we can resell your spot to someone on our waitlist, you will be refunded less a $10 administration fee. 

  • The role of Treasurer can serve more than one calendar year or term.
