Our general meetings are educational, fun, social events when we gather to celebrate our love of modern quilting!  Meetings are free for members.  

This is a special modified meeting on FRIDAY April 25th in the evening (exact time TBA). We will be sharing internationally acclaimed Maria Shell IN-PERSON with the Palm Beach MQG for a lecture at the Hilton Garden Inn Palm Beach Gardens. Also available via Zoom also. Lecture : IMPROV CURIOUS—A HISTORY, A STORY, A LESSON Join Maria for a deep dive into the history of improv in all art forms, as well as how it relates to contemporary quilt making. Maria asks and answers the following questions with humor, facts, and personal anecdotes. What is Improv Quilting and where did it come from? Who are the contemporary Improv quilt artists? What makes their work improvisational? How can you cultivate improv practices in your own work? What does the popularity of improv quilt making mean for the larger quilt world?
