General meetings are usually held the 3rd Saturday of the Month. Anything Goes Modern Sip & Sew Night zooms are the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the Month at 8pm. For counties with a low community level, the advise is: "People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask." Active Dues : Paying members receive the member rate for workshops. Workshop fees will be forfeited if membership lapses.
Saturday, July 18th Lecture: Improv Paper Piecing Teacher: Amy Friend of During Quiet Time Time: 1pm (approx. one hour, with regular Guild meeting to immediately follow) Cost: No additional cost for all Guild members! Size Limit: All members are invited to attend. Lecture Description: This approximately one hour long trunk show is based on a new design approach that Amy Friend presents in her second book, “Improv Paper Piecing: A Modern Approach to Quilt Design.” Amy illustrates through her quilts, how she approaches paper piece design improvisationally to create unique, modern quilts.
