Lecture : Jo Avery - My Journey through Textiles
A look at my history from designing tapestry kits for my first business when I was 21, through my initial art quilt exploration in the 1990’s, right up to my current career as a textile artist and teacher. I will explain why I began writing my blog, how I set up my teaching studio and store, how I came to publish my books, my involvement in The Thread House and our online teaching academy and my exhibition at Festival of Quilts in 2025.
