Removal of the office of VP of Admin from the guild’s Executive Council.
We have now received 10 entries to our SFMQG logo contest!
This concept allows members to have a role in steering a part of the guild’s activities that interests them most, or in an area where they may have special skills to contribute.
The biggest highlight of our July meeting, was the mini-lecture, by Tonya Ricucci, on Improv Piecing.
Many of you have been attending meetings with South Florida Modern since way back in 2011, when Nicole Kaplan, after relocating to Florida, took the initiative to organize a group for modern quilters, much like the one she helped to found in her former home in New York.
As mentioned at the June meeting, we are having a contest for a new SFMQG logo.
