April Special Topic - Word Play Quilts

Tonya Ricucci, aka the UnRuly Quilter, has been quilting for more than 25 years. For the last 15 years she has been focusing on the “Liberated” and “Unruly” styles of improvisational piecing.

In 2010 Tonya’s first book Word Play Quilts, was published by Martingale.

At the April 16th general meeting Tonya will discuss her book Word Play Quilts for making UnRuly letters and numbers which will include an inspiring trunk show.

She will have copies of her book available for sale ($18). Check or exact change please.

Her Word Play Letters workshop on May 14th is Sold Out.

If you are interested sign up on the website store waiting list because things happen and openings might become available.

See you at the meeting this Saturday at Patch Reef Park! Doors open at 12:30.

Remember to bring your BOM, QAL, Charity blocks, basket donations and my favorite Show & Tell.

If you have any Quilt As You Go show & tell from last month’s Special Topic we will want to see that.

Maria Shell workshop attendees please bring what you made for a special show & tell.

We have the whole room this month so we can really spread out. Bring your favorite quilter as a guest. They will have fun!
