Brenda started the meeting at 1:00PM
Cathy introduced speaker, Carolina Oneto - Playing with Color Value She spoke and answered questions until 2:05pm. There were 75 attendees - 71 members and 6 guests.
Treasurer - AJ $13,014 in treasury. All fees for lecturers and classes paid up through May.
BQE - AJ BQE website. Oct. 23-24, 2021, Charles Dodge Center, Pembroke Pines
Volunteers and docents needed
SFMQG Members will be asked to make items for sale. Guild will get profits. Items still being decided on.
Elements quilt challenge
Mini quilt auction. Same auctioneer as last quilt show.

Charity - Susan and Chris Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse is the women’s shelter chosen. Goal is 25 twin sized quilts this year. Please make 5 or more. Directions on website.
Patti, QAL: 2021-05 Month #3 - SFMQG Florida Flyover QUILT-ALONG (QAL) with Patti Make 24 x 8” blocks, using various styles and colors for sand. In month #4, these will create a 36” triangle sand component, not to be put together until further directions next month. Post progress and blocks using hashtag #sfmqg2021qal. The prizes are sponsored by Red Thread Studio. All details on website.

NEW Cassandra Beaver and Lovingly Lissa are doing a free Modern-Traditional Sew Along called Quilt Concert Series 2021. You have to get each weekly pattern that week while it's free. 12 weeks with prizes if you finish. We can talk about it at our Playground BOM zoom meetings if desired.

Kristin is holding Sew Days at StitchCraft for 4 hrs on Sundays announced on FB group. Reservation a must due to limited seating.
