Improv Quilt Along: Month Six

Welcome to Month Six! We're tickled you're going on this journey with us!

You should have received a shoebox filled with fabric from another participant along with SEVEN improv blocks.

Month Six – CURVY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

This month we're taking a quick trip back into Curvy Land. Remember how you sewed those curves like a BOSS in Month Four? Well now you get to practice sewing some cool improv squares with curves and squares!

  1. You'll need four 10 inch squares of fabric (make sure you use some of your signature fabric). You're going to make four squares and then sew the four squares together at the end in a pleasing manner, then press and square them up (it's most likely going to be larger than 12.5 inches, just make it square, no matter how big it gets).
  2. The tutorial for this month's block is from Alyssa Lichner at Pile O'Fabric. There's an awesome video where she shows how to do the improv technique for the curved blocks.
  3.  When you're finished, place your block on the top, add your name to the list on the box and have a sweet treat! Good job!
