Lecture - Amber Elliot - Alderwood Studio - Trunk Show
Amber is pattern designer, artist, quilter, and educator who loves encouraging creativity and community building. Her grandmother taught her to sew, and Amber made her first quilt in her teens. She launched Modern Makes in 2020 and offers digital memberships including a monthly modern mini quilt pattern. Amber also created the Pattern Writing Academy to teach other designers how to release their own patterns. She’s a former software engineer living in Portland, Oregon.
