Supply list for the upcoming workshop:

  • Sewing Machine (remember your power cord and foot pedal!)

  • 70/10 Microtex sewing machine needle

  • Thin thread, in a neutral color (orange spool of Aurifil is OK)

  • Small or medium cutting mat, for using next to your machine

  • Rotary cutter and sharp blade

  • Scissors

  • Seam ripper

  • Pins

  • Pencil

  • Washable glue stick

  • Small and medium rulers of your choice

  • Seam roller (Clover and Violet Craft make them)

  • Various sized scraps, in colorful and neutral colors.  Small prints, solids and blenders work well

  • A few scraps that have tiny patterns, for fussy cutting

  • At least three (3) *used* dryer sheets (they should be nearly transparent after coming out of a hot clothes dryer)

Optional but recommended:

  • “Add an Eighth” ruler.  If you only have an “Add a Quarter” ruler, it will work OK.

  • Iron and ironing board.  We need two or three for the room, although a seam roller works almost as well.

  • Reading glasses, if you need them.

  • Snacks, drinks, lunch (there will be a one-hour break between the workshop and meeting).

A great time was had by all . Checkout the website gallery pictures.
