MEETING MINUTES
Cathy opened mtg at 1pm, welcoming guests. Dual meeting at Boca Raton Community Center and online.
Cathy introduced speaker Steph Skardal - On Creativity: Pushing Your Creative Boundaries. She spoke for 1 hour and took questions and comments for 15 min.
There were 69 attendees - 63 (11 in-house) members and 6 guests (4 in-house).
QuiltCon summary : members who exhibited quilts and members who attended.
QAL : Patti previewed this years QAL, the modern whirligig. This months assignment is to collect and sort out scraps, and to make 4 12.5” blocks by making fabric with scraps. More info on website and Facebook.
DIY BOM - Cathy : There were 14 participants and Jaime was chosen for gift certificate.
Membership - Charlotte : new members AmyG & RobertaH. Guest JenniferS joined after the meeting. Total 125 members.

Five Contemporary Quilt Artists Five Contemporary Quilt Artists exhibited at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden in Butterfly Garden at https://www.mbgarden.org/ Big thanks to Susan (her amazing quilt in ad) for organizing the exhibit.
Bailey Contemporary Arts Center Modern Quilt Exhibition Kristin Beck curated this exhibit for the Bailey Contemporary Arts Center. Opening night is April 1, 2022, from 6-10 pm.
