Annual Challenge Kickoff - NancyP
Mystery ModTech Challenge - “Modern Techniques.”
Will learn modern improve techniques. Details being worked out. Will hear more about it after some details are finalized. Something that NancyP has completed with other guilds. People who have never done improv before have been able to learn improve through this experience. Will likely entail a 1-hour monthly workshop.
Quilt A-Long - Patti
Next block is a wonky star, which is the central star with the golden background. Patti’s instructions are on the website.
Regina Jestrow Field Trip to Miami
Meeting in lobby at 10 AM and then Regina will give a tour. 2 parking lots on Biscayne Bay. Free to join the tour - Regina will explain her works. Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, Skolnick Surgical Tower.
BQE Report
SFMQG table sales totaled more than $1,800, and the guild’s BQE expense was $1,250. Proceeds of about $605.
Big thank you to the volunteers and makers.
Design boards, mini wall quilts, sunglass cases that closed, generally sold well.
Bookmarks, some water bottle holders did not sell as well.
Recipient of the basket was thrilled with the contents.
