Update on Maria Shell’s visit April 25-27, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens: Welcome lecture, meet and greet opened to all and available via Zoom. Cost: free. Two-day workshop at the Hilton Garden Inn. Price: 325$/person.

Getting to know our members
Introducing SusanW from Alexandria, VA, winner of the ModTech 2024 Viewer’s Choice with “My World”.
November meeting: Volunteers needed to add binding and complete quilts for charity (quilted by Susan and her sister this summer, Thank you!!!). Not all were distributed at the September meeting.
Ongoing: The 2024 charity project is towards Ryan's Case for Smiles. Please prepare a pillowcase for children with cancer.
Following our discussion last month, we are revamping our way to serve charity for 2025. To be presented at the December meeting.
Everyone needs to bring their completed quilts and pillowcases to the in person meeting in November. I plan to drop the quilts off before the holidays.
Quilt Your Book
Conclusion of the challenge in October:
-All participants to receive a Fat Quarter. Thank you to all who participated!
-We received a picture of your best block, assembled or not, quilted or not, so let’s vote for Viewers’ Choice on Zoom at the October Meeting.

Preparation for the South Florida Quilt Expo (SFQE) (March 8-9, 2025 in Pembroke Pines):
Inviting Members to submit a quilt,
Inviting Members to prepare 3-5 items to sell at the Guild’s Table, and
Inviting Members to give a few hours to welcome visitors at the Guild’s Table!
MQG 2025 Community Outreach Challenge
Successfully submitted on October 15. It is called “Sketch Plaid”
Email or message your BOM, quilt & modern pics to Charlotte by November 13, 2024 for the gallery or/and bring to the Community Center and show us in person!
