10 a.m. Virtual Sew Day on Zoom in honor of National Quilting Day.

In person, price BQE Guildtique table items and drop off solid fat quarters for the BQE Basketwalk raffle.

1 p.m. Lecture - Sheila Frampton Cooper - Spontaneous Creation and Design. Sheila was preoccupied for years with oil, acrylic and watercolor painting to jewelry-making and architectural photography. The Los Angeles native began her fiber art adventure in 2010. Her art quilts feature free-form improvisational piecing.

Next up, more BQE prep. Biggest need is four Sunday volunteers for the SFMQG table.

Dropoff was Thursday, judging is under way through Sunday.

Alison is coordinating our table setup Friday, April 14. Susan will staff our table Saturday, April 15. Show hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Charles Dodge Center in Pembroke Pines off I-75 or the turnpike.

Quilt pickup is the morning of Monday, April 7. Let Cathy know if you need a pickup.

Laura’s Sewing change in hours at the Boca Raton store. The owners reached out after a man dropped off his sister’s stash since she has stopped quilting. The haul filled my car from the front passenger seat to hatchback. Susan is getting yardage for charity quilts. Fat quarters go on sale in person for 50 cents as a guild fundraiser.
