“Making unfinished objects into charity quilts” presentation by NancyK
- We had the necessary discussion about where we stand in our charity initiative. For this reason, the meeting ran some 20 minutes later than usual.

Heads up September meeting: Volunteers needed to add binding and complete 30 quilts for charity (quilted by Susan and her sister this summer, Thank you!!!). We still have 20 tops that need to be assembled into quilts. These will also be available at the September meeting.
Ongoing: The 2024 charity project is towards Ryan's Case for Smiles. Please prepare a pillowcase for children with cancer.

We will kick off activities in September and invite members to prepare items to sell at SFMQG table.

“Get it Quilted Raffle” for 5$, max size queen quilt quilted by an award-winning quilter.
“The Fabric Painting Workshop” in person in Davie, FL, Saturday September 28, 10 am. 20$
