BQE:
Aj and Allison discussed the BQE Call for Quilts for Sunday, January 27, 2019: Airing of the Quilts event at the historic Stranahan House Museum. Because you are a member of SFMQG you can submit 3 of your quilts for no fee. You are not required to live in Broward County. Read the description carefully for size requirements. Deadline for submissions is Nov 30th.
Cindi volunteered to organize the SFMQG Minis for the BQE Auction. Stay tuned for details about submitting a mini for this SFMQG fundraiser at BQE.
Several items were brought in for the SFMQG BQE fundraising table - thanks! Keep making fun things to sell for our fundraiser.
Holiday Handmade Gift Exchange
At December meeting - Bring One Take One. No holiday specific items and make something you would like to receive using modern fabrics (bright solids if you aren’t sure). Wrap it in modern fat quarter to add a special touch. Make a few and donate for the SFMQG BQE sale table.
We didn’t have enough time to pay Strip Poker so we’ll be doing that at the December meeting too.
BOM:
BOM for December meeting detailed in this blog entry.

First quilt @10 years ago in Colorado. Got it finished in time to take to Scotland where it was very much needed and loved. This presentation gave her the incentive to get many quilt tops completed. Click picture to enlarge.
