Charity
We had a successful collection of the spring “Double T Block” Traditional Block Gone Modern in 6”, 12” and 24”. Work in progress to assemble the quilt. Thank you to all who contributed a block and more!
Summer Charity Block (June-July-August)
It is Survey Time!!!!!
Option 1 “Aviator’s Arrow”, on the MQG website
A Foundation Paper Piece (FPP) pattern. We are suggesting throwing a “FPP Party” for a chance to get together in person, prepare the block and most importantly, introduce beginners to the technique.
Option 2 “Side Stripe”, on the MQG website. Finished size: 12” x 6”. Skill Level: Confident Beginner

-Make-Do 2025 Show and Tell will be at the July 19 meeting (Sustainability as a central concept!)

CHANGE TO BYLAWS
Need a vote and approval from members and Charlotte will update the website
Add to Article III: Officers
Installation of Officers on the Board of Directors. Upon the election of a new Officer (President, Vice President of Events, Vice President of Education, Secretary and Treasurer), the outgoing Officer shall work collaboratively with the incoming Officer to ensure the proper transfer and access to the respective Gmail account. Keep wording: All books and papers regarding the Guild shall be delivered to the new officers as soon as possible but no longer than 4 weeks from the election.
Within thirty (30) days of the election, the outgoing Officer needs to share the Gmail account’s password with the newly elected Officer.
Subsequently, the newly elected Officer, in collaboration with the outgoing Officer, needs:
To access “Personal info” and adjust basic and contact info,
To access “Security” and adjust “How to sign in to Google” and change recovery phone and recovery email.
To change signature at the end of email (if desired)
Transition of Treasurer Duties Both outgoing and newly elected Treasurers need to meet in person at a Bank of America location within thirty (30) days of the election for the transfer of signature privileges. The outgoing Treasurer shall facilitate access to all financial accounts, online banking platforms, payment systems, and financial software, including but not limited to Zelle, PayPal and Stripe.
