Nicole offered to guide us through the pattern at a Zip Up Tray Pouch Workshop for our guild. She got permission form Aneela Hoey and even a discount on the pattern. Here are the details:
When: Saturday, July 8th 10:00 - 3:00
Where: Patch Reef Community Center Boca Raton, FL
Cost: $20 which includes pattern, zipper and interfacing.

ZIP UP TRAY WORKSHOP SUPPLY LIST
You Provide:
--Exterior: 1 fat quarter
--Interior: 1 fat quarter
--Binding: 9" x 9" piece of fabric
--Water soluble pen
--Hand sewing needles and thimble (a thimble is definitely needed!)
--Thread to match binding fabric
--Neutral thread for sewing machine
--90/14 sewing machine needle
--Sewing Machine
--Rotary Cutter, Scissors, Ruler and Cutting mat
--Clover Wonder clips or small office supply binder clips
--Optional but helpful: Zipper foot for sewing machine
SFMQG will Provide:
--Pattern in PDF format
--Zipper: We have white nylon zippers available. If you prefer a different color, please bring your own. Make sure it is a 10 inch *separating* zipper.
--Heavyweight Interfacing: 1/2 yard of Pellon 72F.
--Ironing stations
To Do Before Workshop:
1. Please print PDF pattern.
2. Cut all fabric. See page 9 for cutting suggestions.
3. You will cut the heavyweight interfacing at the workshop.
4. To save time at the shared ironing stations, please try to complete "bias binding" step of the pattern.
