“Making unfinished objects into charity quilts” presentation by NancyK
NancyK could not speak to us as scheduled on "Making unfinished objects into charity quilts" because she is ill. Postponing the talk to August.
Ongoing: The 2024 charity project is towards Ryan's Case for Smiles. Please prepare a pillowcase for children with cancer.
Volunteers needed to finish quilt tops for charity.

Preparation for the South Florida Quilt Expo (SFQE)
March 8-9, 2025 in Pembroke Pines
MarilynH has graciously offered to serve as the Liaison officer for SFMQG and South Florida Quilt Expo (SFQE). Thank you Marilyn!

MQG 2025 Community Outreach Challenge
This year’s theme is “Lines and Bars” and comes with a “calming” palette.
Fabric has been ordered. Thanks for answering our call to order fabric (HillaryL), Big Stitch the final project (CharlotteN) and piece blocks (Dee, Kane, Marilyn, Lolo and more to come)!
Volunteer needed to gather the blocks and coordinate the piecing of the top.
We (easily) gathered 17 volunteers to prepare the blocks for the Community Outreach Quilt and Hillary will cut and mail the fabric shortly.
