Quilt Your Book QAL #3 Curves
Welcome to month #3 of Quilt Your Book!
After exploring book covers with triangles (month #1) and appliqués (month #2), let’s now challenge ourselves with curves!
This means that this month, get inspired by:
⦁ Using fabric to match the cover of a book.
⦁ Focusing on one element,
⦁ Copying the layout, or
⦁ Enlarging a detail!
And introduce curves!
If you don’t have a book in mind, you may want to consider Margie’s choice:
On a side note: I read this book. I gave it 4 stars out of 5. The story line was great, but I got confused with (spoiler alert) the ghost identity plot.
Back to curves. I myself , Marie writing here, have followed the guidance of Brenda Gaël Smith (Serendipity) and NancyP’s Mod Tech Challenge but still feel I have not “adopted” a technique. I have therefore watched more tutorials on youtube. If you have your way of building curves, go for it! However if you have never pieced curves before, or you are just in need of more tips, here are some suggested links.
