Lecture - Jenny Lyon - Tippy Top Tips For Successful and Joyful Free Motion Quilting
The founder of QuiltSkipper.com takes some of the mystery out of free-motion quilting at home on a domestic machine. She’s been teaching since 2006, and wrote a book in 2018 about making machine quilting joyful. Her work has been juried into major shows including Houston and Paducah as well SAQA exhibits and art galleries. She enjoys seeing line, texture and shadow emerge as she quilts. Jenny has suggestions for tips, tools and products that will up your quilting skills. She comes to us from Northern California.

Balance is around $15,100
Working on W2 forms for our lecturers
Charity – Susan
Just got 2 new quilts quilted and bound. Will be delivered end of January at SOS Children’s Village and Nursing Home in WPB. Will have about 70 quilts total. Special shoutout to Nancy Knoll who donated 55 tops. Will announce plans for next year at the January meeting.
Row Your Quilt Finale
Send photo of finished top to Charlotte by Jan. 17 to compete in a drawing for a grand prize at Jan 20th meeting.
Show & Tell
Had a QuiltCon reject parade.
Handmade gift exchange -
i.e. pincushions, clip holders, etc. Give something you would love to receive.
Wrap it up in a fat quarter.
