Swap Reveal
There will be a reveal of an upcoming SFMQG swap! Don't worry, if you miss the meeting Saturday, details will be posted on the blog soon.
BOM
The raffle will be held for the June BOM - don't fret, there's still a few days to make your bird! You can find the instructions here.
Linda will also be walking us through the July BOM, which is modern and fun.
Special Topic: Scraps, Scraps Scraps
The Special topic is going to be all about scraps. We'll be talking about saving scraps, scrap storage, and our best scrap-busting projects. Just a reminder, we're looking for members willing to share their best scrap tips:
- Do you save all of your scraps?
- Do you have a creative way to store or sort your scraps?
- What about fun projects or tutorials to use up scraps?
- Do you have any finished scrap projects (quilts or others) that you'd like to share with us for Show & Tell?
We are also going to be doing a mini scrap swap. If you want to participate, please bring a small bag (ziploc/paper lunch bag) with some of your scraps. We'll give you a bag of someone else's scraps in return. You'll take these home and make a small project or block to bring to the next meeting. Modern Medallion QAL Reveal
The time is here! The big reveal for the Modern Medallion QAL will be at the July meeting. Please bring your project to show off, no matter what state it is (not quilted? no problem. not bound? not an issue. still in process? we'd love to see.)
