Supply list for the upcoming workshop:
Sewing Machine (remember your power cord and foot pedal!)
70/10 Microtex sewing machine needle
Thin thread, in a neutral color (orange spool of Aurifil is OK)
Small or medium cutting mat, for using next to your machine
Rotary cutter and sharp blade
Scissors
Seam ripper
Pins
Pencil
Washable glue stick
Small and medium rulers of your choice
Seam roller (Clover and Violet Craft make them)
Various sized scraps, in colorful and neutral colors. Small prints, solids and blenders work well
A few scraps that have tiny patterns, for fussy cutting
At least three (3) *used* dryer sheets (they should be nearly transparent after coming out of a hot clothes dryer)
Optional but recommended:
“Add an Eighth” ruler. If you only have an “Add a Quarter” ruler, it will work OK.
Iron and ironing board. We need two or three for the room, although a seam roller works almost as well.
Reading glasses, if you need them.
Snacks, drinks, lunch (there will be a one-hour break between the workshop and meeting).
A great time was had by all . Checkout the website gallery pictures.
