2024 Challenge : Quilt Your Book QAL
Choose a book cover and quilt it! Our first challenge was to add a triangle on your book cover project.

On our next challenge, challenge #4, we will explore Surface Design.

Call for Volunteers:
Looking for a Liaison for South Florida Quilt Expo (SFQE), previously called “BQE”.
This position is in preparation of the SFQE to be held March 8-9, 2025 in Pembroke Pines, FL. The volunteer serves on the SFQE committee and updates SFMQG at our monthly meeting. SFQE meetings are held on Zoom once a month.
MarilynH will serve as the liaison officer between South Florida Quilt Expo and SFMQG.
MQG 2025 Community Outreach Challenge
Thanks for answering our call to order fabric (HillaryL), Big Stitch the final project (CharlotteN) and piece blocks (Dee, Kane, Marilyn, Lolo and more to come).
This year’s theme is “Lines and Bars” and comes with a “calming” palette.

We decided on a plaid pattern for the Community Outreach Quilt. Cathy will prepare the details and Hillary will order the fabric. The lines /bars will be Shamrock, Green Apple and Honeydew. The background will be Royal.
